What roles require
The role pages count what public postings for software and data roles ask for: the skills, the years of experience, the degree wording and the stated pay. Every count is shown out of the roles it was read from. Company profiles do the same for one employer at a time.
How it works

Every required item is met, and nothing preferred is missing or partial.

Nothing stops you, but a required item is only partly covered, not shown in your resume, or unclear, or a preferred item is missing.
One requirement to meet first
An eligibility requirement the posting states is missing from your resume: work authorization, location, a degree or certification, years, or a clearance.
Can't tell yet
The posting or the resume is too short to compare, or most required items could not be confirmed either way.
What it does not do
It does not give you a number
You get counts, such as 3 of 4 required met, and the reasons behind them.
It does not write around a requirement
When something required is missing, it says so. That is experience to gain, not wording to fix.
It does not know the employer
It reads the posting and your resume as written. It does not know the hiring manager or how many people applied.
It does not decide for you
It can be wrong about wording it could not read as evidence. Use it as one input.
What happens to your data
Deleted with the verdict
Your resume and the posting are processed once and deleted when the verdict appears.
72 hours if something fails
If something fails, a copy is kept for 72 hours so we can see why, then deleted.
14 days if you save it
We email you a private link that works for 14 days. It shows the verdict only, never your resume or the posting, and you can delete it earlier.

What do I get?
A verdict in one of four answers: Good to apply; Apply, after closing gaps; One requirement to meet first; or Can’t tell yet. Under it, every requirement from the posting, with the line of your resume that supports it or a note that nothing does.
Do I need an account?
No. You paste the posting, add your resume and read the verdict.
What can I upload?
A text-based PDF, or you can paste the text of your resume. Word files are not supported yet.
How long does it take?
Comparing your resume with the posting usually takes 10 to 20 seconds.
What happens to my resume?
It is processed once and deleted when the verdict appears, together with the posting. If something fails, a copy is kept for 72 hours so we can see why, then deleted.
How long is a saved verdict kept?
For 14 days, behind a private link we send to your email. The link shows the verdict only. You can delete it earlier from the same page.
Can the verdict be wrong?
Yes. It reads the posting and your resume as written, and it can miss wording it could not read as evidence. It does not know the employer or how many people applied.
